AshantiGold targets MTN FA Cup top scorer Elvis Opoku from Gold Stars

Ghana Premier League side AshantiGold have expressed interest in signing striker Elvis Opoku from second-tier side Gold Stars.

Opoku has been on the transfer wish list of many top-flight sides after topping the scorers chart in last season’s MTN FA Cup with seven goals.

AshGold have written officially to the Bibiani-based side inquiring about his availability.

Gold Stars would not baulk to sell Opoku to AshantiGold after failing to make it to the playoffs from Zone II.
