Ashantigold SC deputy coach Yakubu Mambo says the club’s ambition is to secure a top four finish after their convincing 1-1 draw with leaders Accra Hearts of Oak on Wednesday.
Robin Gnagne gave the host a 28th minute lead before Anthony Yerful equalized with a fine finish with five minutes to the end of the first half.
Mambo who is leading the team in the absence of his boss insists a top four finish is very possible for them.
“I think we can get a top four place at the end of the season, it is very possible and we have to keep going,” Mambo stated adter the game
“We could have defeated Hearts of Oak, we were far better than them, we hope to build on this results with seven games left,”
The Miners who won the league last season are currently 11th on the log with 26 points.
