Joint top scorer in the First Capital Plus Premier League, Yakubu Mohammed says he is bidding his time with league leaders Ashantigold amidst fresh offers on the table for the miners striker.

Sources close to Sportscrusader.com have it that an unnamed club has bid for the goal poacher and will leave if negotiations are agreed between the two clubs.

Yakubu who is in Ghana to re-launch his career after stints in South Africa for Mariztburg United has scored 5 goals in 3 games for the miners in the ongoing First Capital Plus Premier League.

Though a bid has been sent for the 23-year-old, the former Maritzburg United striker is not eager to leave the Obuasi based side any time soon.

“I have learnt my lessons very well and I am not in a hurry to leave this club, I had difficult times in South Africa and I am hoping things will go on well for me, Yakubu Mohammed told Sportscrusader.com.

“I have heard of some clubs, my agent told me, but I am not in a hurry to go anywhere, I want to play for this club and if I think it is time for me to leave again I will leave but now I am ok where I am”.
