FC Sion striker Ebenezer Assifuah has predicted victory for his side at Liverpool in Thursday’s Europa League Group B clash.
The 22-year-old believes Sunday’s Swiss Super League 1-0 home defeat to Vaduz at home has been a rude awakening for his side ahead of the trip to Anfield.
He climbed off the bench in 72 minutes as Sion lost and slipped to fifth on the table.
But Assifuah insists they will come good against Liverpool.
"We have learned from our mistakes and I don’t think beating Liverpool is something we can’t achieve," Assifuah told AfricanFootball.com.
Sion top Group B with three points; two more than the chasing pack including Rubin Kazan and Bordeaux who have one point apiece.
