Ghana attacker Ebenezer Assifuah scored to help FC Sion win against FC Basel in the Swiss Cup semi-finals on Sunday.
Sion won the tie 4-3 on penalties after drawing 2-2 in regulation time.
Assifuah, 22, cushioned the lead for Sion with a 66th minute effort after Gambian Jagne Modou had scored earlier for the hosts.
But Basel equalised both goals in the second-half to send the game into extra-time.
Assifuah was replaced in the 77th minute but his team-mates forged on to win the game 4-3 on penalties.
