Avram Grant cancels Freiburg friendly over injury fears

Ghana Coach Avram Grant has called for the cancellation of the Black Stars final pre-Africa Cup of Nations friendly match against German Bundesliga club SC Freiburg.

The Israeli trainer made the decision following the growing number of knocks suffered by players including Asamoah Gyan in training.

The Black Stars will train on Wednesday morning before departing to Equatorial Guinea later in the afternoon.

The Black Stars will open their AFCON 2015 campaign with a Group C clash against Senegal next Monday before playing against Algeria and South Africa.
