Ghanaian striker Jordan Ayew is likely to leave Olympic Marseille this summer with just a year left on his existing contract.
Ayew’s contract with the Stade Velodrome outfit ends in the summer of 2015 and will like to leave permanently even before it runs out.
According to Le Phonceen, Ayew is saddened by the treatment that is sometimes meted out to him as he finds himself mostly on the bench.
“He has not forgotten what was said about him at the club last fall. He could sign for OJ Nice on the last day of the transfer window,” the newspaper quoted a source close to the player.
“In England, Stoke City and West Bromwich Albion have already looked at him seriously.”
A good showing at the 2014 World Cup could largely determine his club future.
