Barnsley midfielder Andy Yiadom and Alhassan Wakaso of Rio Ave are the two new faces in Ghana's 23-man squad to face Egypt in the 2018 Fifa World Cup qualifiers in Alexandria on November 13.

Both players have been called up to replace Gilbert Koomson and David Accam, who were dropped from the squad that faced Uganda in the qualifiers last month.

Also missing is captain Asamoah Gyan, who sustained an injury while training with his club Al Ahli on Tuesday.

However, West Ham United star Andre Ayew makes a comeback to the fold after recovering from a hamstring sprain picked up in August.

There are no changes in the goalkeeping department, with Adam Kwarasey, Razak Braimah and Richard Ofori maintaining their spots while the defense is also not altered.

The Black Stars are expected to open camping in Dubai on Sunday and depart for Egypt on November 11, two days before the game at the Borg El-Arab Stadium.
