Andre Ayew will face his former side when Swansea face 1860 Munich in a pre-season friendly on Saturday.
The Ghana international turned out for the club’s under-9 side when his father Abedi Pele played for the first team between 1996 and 1998.
Ayew will be given a 30-minute run-out this time around after featuring for an hour three days ago against Borussia Monchengladbach.
The ex-Marseille talisman looks quiet settled and itching to hit the ground running.
“Everything has gone well so far. The guys have helped me get into the group and I thank them all for the warm welcome,” Ayew said.
“People like Bafe (Gomis), the captain (Ashley Williams), Nathan (Dyer) and Jonjo (Shelvey) have been very nice to me. I thank them for their support and I hope things will remain as positive as they are.
“I have also appreciated pre-season training because it is an important way of getting to know the players here.
“I knew a lot of them from watching the team in the past but now I must get to know them personally and how the team plays.”
Swansea face further friendlies against Reading, Nottingham Forest and Deportivo de La Coruna on their return to British soil before the new Premier League campaign kicks off at Chelsea on August 8.
