BA United CEO Mustapha Riga has vowed to help the Club attain better heights after taking charge of the Sunyani-based Club.

Riga, former Dutch youth international signed a 15-year ownership deal with the Club after the team’s relegation from the domestic top-flight.

The former Levante attacker returned to his native country after announcing his retirement from active football.

The 34-year-old who has embarked on his first duty as a football administrator since retiring from football has promised to qualify the team back to the elite division.

“I want to make BA United one of the best in Ghana and Africa,” he told Atinka FM.

“The Club must return back to the Premier League next season.

“I have set a personal target to make BA United one of the biggest Club’s in the country within two years.”

BA United got relegated from the Ghana Premier League after finishing at the bottom of the League table last season.
