BA United appeal for tight security

Sunyani, Sept 20, GNA - The management of B.A. United F/C has appealed for tight security when they play Aduana F/C in a Division One League match at Dormaa- Ahenkro on Sunday, September 24, 2006. The appeal was made in a statement signed by the club's chairman, Joseph Adjin Lartey on behalf of the playing body, the Board of Directors and well wishers of the club.

The statement said the "request is imperative considering the unfortunate and nasty incidents that characterised last seasons clash between the two clubs at the same venue.

It addes: "it is our fervent hope that this appeal when granted would go along way to forestall any unforeseen rowdyism so as to achieve fair play in the match."
