Ghanaian duo Enoch Kofi Adu and Gideon Baah progressed to the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round on Tuesday with their respective clubs.
Baah, a left-back, played the entire duration as his Finnish side HJK Helsinki beat Ventspils 1-0 to wrap up a 4-1 aggregate win.
Helsinki will face either Slovenian side NK Maribor or Patrick Twumasi’s FC Astana from Kazakhstan.
Midfielder Adu was a 75th minute substitute as Swedish side Malmo FF beat Zalgiris Vilnius 1-0 on the road to advance.
Malmo FF will next face Austrian side FC Salzburg.
The first leg tie will be played on 28/29 July and the return legs on 4/5 August.
