Black Stars defender Abdul Baba Rahman is not ruling out the possibility of qualifying to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
Ghana’s hopes of making a fourth successive World Cup seems to have been dashed having managed just 1 point in two matches.
The Black Stars will need to win their remaining four games and rely on other results to make it to the World Cup.
Despite Ghanaians losing hopes on the team’s chances of making it to the Mundial, the Schalke O4 left-back is optimistic the Black Stars can make it to the global football event.
“I think we still have a chance, we have four games to play and all are must-win games. And we hope [to benefit] on other results as well, so I believe we have a chance to come back,” Rahman told the Graphic Sports.
Ghana who lie third in Group E will play Congo in their next World Cup qualifier in Augusts 2017.
