Ghana defender Baba Rahman has certainly rediscovered his defending bite after emerging as the player who won tackles in Chelsea’s final league game of the season against Leicester City which ended 1-1.
The Ghanaian who joined Chelsea from Augsburg has enjoyed a difficult first season in England but has certainly improved his status in the final games of the season.
Rahman put in a career defining season performance against Liverpool on Monday night where he had a personal best rating of 8 out of a possible 10.
The former Asante Kotoko left back bettered that performance on the final day against Leicester by winning all the eight tackles he went in for in the game.
Only in-form and much touted N’Golo Kante equaled Rahman's form by winning 8 of the tackles he also went in for.
Reports in the United Kingdom claim in-coming Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has asked Rahman to return for Pre-season in good shape and with a mind set to move his game to a different level.
In total the Ghanaian has played in 15 league games and 7 Cup games making 22 appearances in summation for the dethroned English champions.
