Baba Rahman not bucked down after 2014 World Cup snub

Ghana and Chelsea defender Baba Rahman says he was not disappointed despite narrowly failing to make Ghana’s team that played at the world cup in Brazil.

The 21-year-old left back was initially a member of the preliminary squad but failed to make the team proper.

He says he was not disappointed after he was over looked for the games in Brazil.

“On a personal note, no because I was with the team for a year and never played so I really had doubts in terms of a call-up for me.” Rahman told Accra based Citi-Fm

The former Augsburg defender was a member of the Black Stars team that finished second at the 2015 Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea.
