Ghana defender Baba Abdul Rahman is set for a long run of games in the English Premier League after Guus Hiddink revealed he would play some of the young players in the League.
The 21-year-old announced his presence with a commanding display against PSG in the UEFA Champions League first leg in Paris.
The former Augsburg defender continued his renaissance with another impressive display against Manchester City over the weekend.
Rahman’s performance has given the young players with Chelsea an opportunity with boss Guus Hiddink admitting he is open to the idea of playing the young players in the league.
“We have games still to go in the Premier League where there might be more options. I don’t make any guarantees to players but there might be more opportunities for them in the near future.
"Sometimes you cannot always stick to your principles but they will get some chances."
The Ghana international arrived from Germany with a huge price tag but has showed tremendous improvement in his last three games for the club.
