Baba benched as Chelsea face Tottenham

Ghana defender Baba Rahman will start from the bench as Chelsea face Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday afternoon.

The left-back was a starter in midweek against Maccabi Tel Aviv where he delivered a prosaic cross for Oscar to head home for Chelsea’s third goal.

But he has lost his place to Azpilicueta and Branislav Ivanovic playing as right back.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has also dropped Diego Costa to the bench.

The Spain international has struggled for form this season, with Eden Hazard replacing him as a central striker.

Kurt Zouma and Gary Cahill form Chelsea's centre-back partnership, while Asmir Begovic continues in goal in the absence of Thibaut Courtois.

Willian, Oscar and Pedro will provide support to Hazard.
