Udinese and Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has expressed his joy at being able to run for the first time since his injury at the 2012 African Nations Cup.
He tweeted last night, "Happy! Happy! I started running today and it went well. Run for 10 mins feeling very good. Good evening :)) God Is Good."
Agyemang Badu also added that he is waiting to push himself to recover fully so that he returns to play for Udinese, if the doctors give him the signal.
"When the doctors give me the signal I want to push it. I can't wait to be back on the field helping my team."
He had been cleared to start running after seeing specialists in Rome late last week Friday.
"I have started with some slow runs and yesterday (Tuesday), I was able to run for about 10 minutes and it felt good," a happy Badu added.
