Barnet manager, Martin Allen, is keen to extend Bernard Mensah’s loan spell with the Bees, as the Watford striker's spell is coming up to expiry.
Young Hornets' academy graduate, Mensah, is currently on loan at Conference Premier table toppers, Barnet, and the boss of the Bees is hoping to lengthen the spell of the striker's stay which is set to expire in the coming week, reports the Watford Observer.
Mensah, who turned 20 Friday, has made only one start for Allen's side since arriving in early November, appearing from the bench on seven occasions.
After an impressive loan spell last season with fellow Conference side Braintree Town, Mensah has scored twice for the London outfit with the first being on his debut.
Mensah has made only one appearance for the Hornets since turning pro in 2011, coming on off the bench in the late stages at home to Bolton in the 2013-14 season, as the Trotters took all the points.
