2013 winner of the Ghana Most Beautiful pageant Lawrencia Ayapoka paid the Black Stars a visit in their final training session ahead of today’s clash against Guinea.
Poka, as she is affectionately called interacted with the players and officials after the session.
The Black Stars held their final training session ahead of their 2015 AFCON qualifier against Guinea before another impressive crowd on Tuesday evening. Poka’s presence put an extra spark into the session with occasional chants from the excited crowd.
She expressed her joy of having met the players in person and urged them to go all out to make Ghana proud by delivering a massive win on Wednesday.
“I am very glad to be here to see you train and I must say I am very confident that you will record a massive win tomorrow,” she told the players.
“You can be rest assured of the support from the fans here and I know that you will not let us down.”
Poka who hails from the Upper East Region emerged winner of the 2013 edition of the Ghana’s Most Beautiful pageant organized by TV3.
