An application to stay the execution of the onehome match ban imposed on Bechem United by the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has been dismissed.
Bechem filed the application against the decision pending the determination of the appeal.
The application failed to meet the requirements since it was not a motion on notice, according to GFA Regulation Article 37 (17) (b).
"The Committee for the above reasons dismisses the stay of execution and the Professional League Board should ensure the ban is imposed as contained in the decision of the Disciplinary Committee of 16th April, 2014," the ruling stated.
