Ben Acheampong misses out on Jordanian top-flight action

Ghanaian striker Ben Acheampong failed to secure promotion to the Jordanian top-flight after Al Aqaba lost 2-1 at home to Mansheyat on Tuesday.

The former Kotoko striker lasted the entire duration of the game as the visitors picked up the vital points.

The result leaves Al Aqaba in fourth as they missed out on qualification to the country’s top-flight.

Acheampong raked in eight goals for the side since joining from Angolan giants Petro Athletico.
