Ashanti Gold head coach Bashir Hayford says their match week 28 game against Berekum Chelsea was a difficult one for his side.
AshGold twice came from behind to draw two-all against the former Premier league champions and match ever closer to clinch their first league title in 20 years.
Coach Bashir says the result of the game is a testimony that it was not easy for either side.
"The game was tough against a very good side; a side that knew a win would put them into the title race again," the former Kotoko boss told the press in his post-match comments.
"We knew what to expect... we knew the game was going to be difficult and we prepared well for them and our preparation yielded this result."
Berekum Chelsea conceded a late penalty, allowing AshGold to draw level from the spot. Bashir Hayford boasts that winning penalties is a tactic he taught his players at training.
"Winning penalties is part of training...; I have taught some players how to win penalties; when they are in the box and you touch them, it becomes a penalty and if you don't they will score.
"That is the tactical aspect of playing in the box."
AshGold will host WAFA on match week 29, before travelling to Accra for the final league game against Great Olympics.
