Ghana striker Bernard Terkpetey is determined to walk in the shoes of Ghanaian greats like Tony Yeboah and Osei Kuffour in German after declaring his intentions of making history in the Bundesliga.
The wonderful striker inspired SC Paderborn 07 to secure qualification to the Bundesliga from the Bundesliga II after he was sold out by Schalke 04 a season ago.
Terkpetey played 34 games in all competitions for Paderborn, scoring 10 goals and making 7 assists.
His stupendous performance forced a return to the Veltins Arena where he was repurchased for over a million Euros.
And the Ghanaian who is still receiving offers from other European countries despite signing for Schalke says he’s determined to make history in the Bundesliga before considering offers from other countries.
“I’m determined to make history,” Terkpetey told FootballMadeInGhana.com
“Anthony Yeboah, CK Akonnor, Osei Kuffour and Gerald Asamoah all made history in Germany and I want to do same.
“I love the Bundesliga and I’m determined to make history there before considering offers from other countries,” he added.
Terkpetey is, however, likely to be transferred again by Schalke 04 to another Bundesliga club on loan.
