The Black Queens of Ghana have arrived in Nigeria ahead of the 2004 Olympic qualifier match with Nigeria on Saturday in Ibadan, the Oyo State Capital.

The team comprises 18 players and five officials - 15 of the players represented the country at the last World Cup played in the United States.
Skipper Alberta Sackey who announced her retirement from the team after the team’s abortive tournament at the last World Cup, leads the pack of the regular players missing from the set.
While Mavis Djangmah is said to be nursing an injury, Mimi Osei Agyeman was not invited at all while Patience Sackey who was shown the red card in the Queens encounter in the Congo is serving her ban.
The players in Nigeria include Memunatu Sulemana, Fati Mohammed, Mavis Danso, Patricia Ofori, Lydia Ankrah, Elizabeth Baidoo, Yaa Avor, Aminatu Sulemana, Genevieve Clottey, and Florence Oko.
The rest are Gloria Oforiwaa, Akua Anokyewaa, Diana Anane, Helena Arthur Mensah, Ramana Tahiru, Adjoa Bayor, Belinda Kanda and Gloria Aikens.
