Black Starlets play Novara today

Ghana’s Under-17 side the Black Starlets will on Tuesday face Italia Serie B side Novara as part of their preparation toward this month’s African Junior Championship in Morocco.

Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin side has been based at the plush Novarello Training Centre in Northern Italy fine-tuning the rough edges ahead of the tournament which will kick-start on April 13 in Morocco.

The team beat FC Gossau 10-0 in its first test match but lost their second match 2-3 against Sampdoria.

Ghana have been pitted in Group B for the tournament with Ivory Coast, Nigeria and Congo.
