Chairman of the Black Stars Management Committee, George Afriyie, says they have not received any written or verbal complaint from the players of the Black Stars about the conduct of Black Stars head coach, Avram Grant.
Recently, Grant has dominated media sports discussions, after the poor run of results by the Black Stars.
And with the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations approaching, a decision will soon be reached to determine the fate of Grant as head coach of Ghana.
According to Afriyie, they have not been petitioned by the Black Stars players calling for the sack of Grant.
He said: “We’ve not received any complaint, of course a negative complaint by the players would have prompted the immediate sacking of the coach. Nonetheless, we are under pressure after our recent poor performance and we shall surely review the performance of the coach.”
Information gathered by sportscrusader.com indicates that, the future of Grant will be determined at a management meeting on Thursday.
