Former Ghana Under-17 international John Arwuah has been released by Bloemfontein Celtic after signing a pre-contract with Durban-based side Amazulu.

The 28-year-old will replace another former Celtic midfielder Letladi Madubanya who was released by Usuthu recently.

"Gabonamong's arrival will offset the loss of John Arwuah to AmaZulu. Arwuah signed a pre-contract with the KwaZulu Natal club and Celtic would have lost him for free at the end of the season. Management decided it was in the best interests of all parties if the player left immediately," the statement said.

Meanwhile, Botswana international Mogogi Gabonamong joins Celtic from fellow PSL side SuperSport United on an 18-month contract with an option for another year, after spending two and half years at Matsatsantsa.

"Bloemfontein Celtic FC has signed Botswana international Magogi Gabonamong from SuperSport United and the player will arrive at the club today," said a statement on the Celtic website.
