Richmond Boakye Yiadom featured in Red Star Belgrade’s 3-0 defeat to Bayern Munich in their opening Champions League group game on Wednesday night.
The Ghanaian striker was brought in as replacement for Milan Pavkov in the 70th minute but could not rescue his team from a ruthless Bavarian side.
The hosts broke the deadlock through Kingsley Coman who leaped to meet a deep cross and nodded the ball inside the middle of the net, past the helpless goalkeeper.
Lewandowski and Thomas Muller both scored in the second half to seal a comfortable victory.
