The decision of the Board was reached yesterday when a high profile stakeholders meeting was held at the instance of the Board chairman, Dr. Kwabena Saarah Akyerekoh.

In an exclusive interview with SPACE FM this morning on the popular sports programme, SPACE SUPERSPORT, Dr. Akyerekoh explained that the decision of Board was meant to prevent ?power vacuum? in the club.

He added that after extensive deliberations, the members of the IMC have agreed to work as a team in the best interest of the club.

Other members of the IMC are; Anane Konadu Dacosta, Sarpong Boateng, Apraku Tuffour and Joe Dankwa.

It would be recalled that Joe Bennett, in a letter dated 17th March, 2005 addressed to the chairman of the Board, stated that he had resigned his post as the chairman of the IMC as a result of what he described as infighting among the members of the IMC. He also stated lack of financial support as another reason for his decision.
