Brentford Play Down Owusu Rumour

Brentford have dismissed speculation linking Ghanaian-born star striker Lloyd Owusu with a move to London rivals Crystal Palace.

The 25-year-old, one of the hottest properties in the Second Division after netting 23 goals this season, is out of contract at the end of June.

But a Brentford spokesman said: "There has been no movement on that front. Crystal Palace haven't been in touch, and neither has anyone else.

"The players are having a break at the moment, so nothing will be sorted out until they get back."
