Ghana goalkeeper Razak Brimah returned to first team action as Mirandes were held by leaders Real Valladolid to a goalless draw in the Spanish second tier game played on Saturday.
The 27-year-old missed last weekend’s defeat at Sabadell following his sending off the previous week against Girona.
Brimah however returned to assume his first team duties and kept a clean sheet for Mirandes.
His side was however unable to do the business at the other end and were ultimately held to a goalless draw by visiting Real Valladolid.
The result sees Mirandes slip into the relegation zone of the Segunda Division.
Carlos Terraza’s side are now desperate for points and will require a good result when the league resumes in two weeks time, after the international break where Mirandes travel to face Las Palmas.
