Gomoa Buduburam (C/R), April 12, GNA- Gomoa Buduburam F/C on Wednesday whipped Ekotsi F/C 3-0 in their outstanding second division league match played at Buduburam. Buduburam F/C took command of the game right from the beginning and scored two rapid goals though Matthew Dede in the seventh and tenth minutes. They played well afterwards to cling onto their lead till half time. The second half-saw Ekotsi F/C on the war path. They pinned their opponents to their own half and twice came close to scoring but their forwards squandered the chances.

Ekotsi continued to dictate the pace, but their hopes of pulling even got dashed when Amos Hallownger, scored against the run of play in the 73rd minute to further stretch the lead of the home team. In other outstanding matches played Mankoadze Asaase F/C drew 1-1 with Assin Mampong Hikings while Tuba Metro Stars defeated Obrachire Queen Annah F/C 3-0. Obrachireman United lost to Kasoa Young Hearts by a lone goal and Kasoa Bagojet Sagad played a barren draw with Kasoa Perrank.
