Burkinabe referees for Hearts/Santos match

Accra, Aug. 2, GNA - The Confederations of African Football (CAF) has appointed officials from Burkina Faso to handle the opening group game's cup competition between Accra Hearts of Oak and Santos Club of South Africa at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, August 8.

Referee Pare Lassina will control affairs from the middle to be assisted by Millogo Brama and Pare Lossena on the lines whilst Ghanaian referee Anann Lomotey will be the fourth referee with Mr Mohamed Hossam from Egypt as the match commissioner.

Mr Sowe Modou from Gambia will also handle the Kumasi Asante Kotoko's game against Enugu Rangers of Nigeria at the Kumasi Sports Stadium on Sunday.

Two other Gambia officials, Sugufara S. Modou and Singateh Madiba, would be his assistant referees. Ghana's Samuel Quaye will be the fourth referee with Seyi Memene from Togo as the match commissioner.
