Elmina, Oct 21, GNA - The Central Regional Juvenile football league competition started at all the various centres throughout the region last weekend.
At SSNIT park on Saturday A.O.C. (Ato Quarshie's Own Club) played Liberty Professional of Akotokyir, near Cape Coast, in both the under '14' and '17' divisions.
In the under 14 years football match, AOC players who looked much taller defeated Liberty Professionals 5-0 The goals came from inside right Emmanuel Ackon, centre forward Paa Shani, left winger Justice Mensah.
In the Under 17 division AOC defeated Liberty Professionals by 2 goals to nil.
Both goals were scored by inside-left George French in the 60th and 80th minutes.
