Ghana has up to the end of November to confirm participation in next year’s Confederation of African Football’s (CAF) intercontinental club championships.
The continent’s football governing body has asked the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to confirm participants for the Champions League and the Confederation Cup competitions before the November 30 deadline.
Information gathered by GNA Sports indicated that the draw for both competitions would be held in December.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Berekum FC are expected to feature in the Champions League, with debutants, Medeama and Ebusua Dwarfs, playing in the Confederations Cup.
Ghana will be represented at both competitions with two teams each for the first time in five years.
Accra Hearts of Oak remains the only Ghanaian side to have won both competitions, winning the 2000 Champions League and adding the CAF Confederation Cup in 2004.
