Accra, March 1, GNA - The Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) on Thursday named eleven players as the continents finest. The eleven were given special honours during the 2006 Glo-CAF Awards held in Accra.

Michael Essien - Ghana (Chelsea, England) Didier Zokora - Cote d'Ivoire (Tottenham, England), Mamadou Diarra - Mali (Real Madrid, Spain) makes up the midfield with strikers - Samuel Eto'o - Cameroon (Barcelona, Spain) and D. Drogba - Cote d'Ivoire (Chelsea, England) as the striking pair.
