Cape Coast, Nov. 23, GNA- Cape Coast Technical Institute (Cape Tech) emerged the Central Regional Inter Schools and Colleges Zone One soccer champions when they whipped Ghana National College 6-1 in the finals of their soccer match played at the Robert Mensah Sports stadium on Tuesday.
Centre half Samuel Quaison played a yeoman's game to score a hat trick in the match.
The Cape Tech lads right from the blast of the whistle outclassed their opponents and went ahead to score three rapid goals through Quaison, outside right Godfried Kuofie and mid-fielder Andrews Ofori, before the end of the first half.
They continued to dictate the pace of the game and it came as no surprise when they raised the tally to 4-0 through Quaison again in the 55th minute The Ghana National College lads however managed to pull back a goal in the 60th minute through centre half Abubakar Ampah. Inspired by their vociferous mates, the Cape Tech lads went ahead to score two more goals through Quaison in the 65th minute and Ofori in the 67th minute to seal the doom of the Ghana National College team.
