Former Arsenal and Spartak Moscow winger Quincy Owusu-Abeiye is attracting interest from newly promoted Cardiff City.
Malky Mackay is looking for players to spearhead Cardiff's return to the Premier League and has highlighted Owusu-Abeiye as one of the players to do so.
The Ghanian international has a host of experience of playing in England following spells with Arsenal, Birmingham City and Portsmouth, and this will be looked upon favourably by Mackay who will be looking to avoid relegation at the first attempt.
Owusu-Abeiye is currently playing in Greece with Panathinaikos, but has consistently been linked with a move away this summer.
But Cardiff are not the only team vying for the Ghanian's signature. La Liga outfit Getafe are also rumoured to be interested in signing the former Arsenal winger and they are also in advanced discussions with Owusu-Abeiye's representatives about a possible move that could see the winger move to Spain.
But wherever Owusu-Abeiye ends up playing his football next season, he is confident that he can settle in a new environment, after playing in six different countries through-out his career.
Speaking to reporters in Greece, Owusu-Abeiye stated: "I am looking forward to a new start at a new team. Hopefully that could be a team where I will settle. Nothing is done yet, so I can still decide another team before the season starts."
