Cape Coast, May 27, GNA - Elmina Coconut Sharks started the Middle League on a bright note when they beat Abreshia United 1-0 in the opening match of the Central Region Zonal Division Two match played at the Cape Coast Robert Mensah Stadium on Tuesday. The Sharks who are determined to qualify for Division One come the next football season, made victory certain as early as the second minute when their play-maker Anthony Arthur scored the only goal and the match winner. In another encounter, Cape Coast Mighty Youngsters also pipped Ojobi Miracle Land 1-0.

Mr Mathew Doe, Chairman of the Regional Football Association said champions of the competition will be promoted to the First Division at the end of the tournament.
