Central Region Second Division league to commence in August

Cape coast, July 31, GNA - The Central Regional Second Division league will commence on Sunday, August 15.

Mr Mathew Doe, Chairman of the Region Football Association announced at the close of registration of clubs on Friday, and said so far only twelve teams have registered. He said the Association has meanwhile given the remaining clubs one more week to register, "or count themselves as opting out from the competition."

Among the teams that have so far registered for the league are Agona Swedru All Blacks, Cape Coast Bless F/C, Twifo Praso Akumpreku and Elmina Coconut Groove Sharks.
