Former Hearts of Oak great Charles Taylor has joined Ghanaian third tier club Vision Explorers Academy in his latest bid to revive his career.
The 31-year-old remains one of the most talented local players never to have realized his full potential.
Taylor was so good during his prime with Hearts of Oak and was likened to some of the great world football legends.
But the former Etoile du Sahel man who also played for Asante Kotoko has struggled to rekindle his lost glory after returning from a long-term injury.
Even a move to Berekum Chelsea where many thought offered him the best platform to resurrect his dwindling career failed to come off as planned.
Taylor has now joined third tier club Vision Explorers Academy after being convinced by his agent to try to salvage his career.
“It is true that Charles Taylor has joined Vision Explorer Academy until the end of the season, I’m his agent and also he has a lot of talent which I can’t sit down for it to go waste so I convinced him to join the club which he accepted,” self-acclaimed agent of the winger Nana Yaw revealed.
“After his short spell with the club, I’m optimistic that he will get good offers outside Ghana because I strongly believe he has something to offer the nation before he finally retires from football.”
Taylor was expected to have joined Gold Stars after revealing holding extensive talks with the Bibiani-based club.
Those talks however appear to have hit a snag leading to his move to Vision Explorers Academy.
