Chelsea linked with Ghana star Andre Ayew

Dethroned English champions Chelsea are the latest club to be linked with Ghana star Andre Ayew, according to a publication by transfermarketweb.

The Swansea City star is expected to leave the Liberty Stadium after more than impressive debut season in the English top-flight.

But Chelsea must be prepared to meet the £15million asking price with rivals West Ham and Sunderland itching to sign him.

Ayew scored 12 goals to become the club’s top scorer and was voted Newcomer of the season during their awards ceremony.

The 26-year-old has spoken of his desire to play in Europe’s inter-clubs competition and that is where West Ham may have the edge.
