Libyan side Ahly Benghazi have qualified to the last-16 of the Caf Champions League after a 2-0 home win over Berekum Chelsea on Sunday.
Tarek El-Ashri’s side scored both goals in the first half through striker Ahmed El-Zewi and Edward Sadomba in the 29 and 39 minutes respectively. Benghazi managed a 1-1 draw in the first-leg in Ghana last week.
The north Africans advance on a 3-1 aggregate score.
The Blues, who reached the group stages of the elite inter-club competition of the continent two seasons ago, were making their second attempt and will now have to shift attention to the Ghana Premier League.
