Ghana midfielder, Yussif Raman Chibsah, says he is confident of sealing a permanent place in the Black Stars set-up during the 2015 Afcon.
The Sassuolo player made the four-man stand-by list for the 2014 World Cup after a good season with the recently promoted Serie A side.
Knowing his chances are very bleak as far as the final World Cup squad is concerned, the former Bechem United player believes he will get the chance to play active international football after the tournament in Brazil.
“I am happy at least I made the stand-by list. I wish the team well and they will reach far at the tournament.
“I have played well this season, and if I continue on this same scale, I will surely get the chance to play for the Black Stars after the World Cup.
“My target is the next tournament, which is the 2015 Afcon. I know I can achieve that with extra hard work,” Chibsah told Accra-based, Radio XYZ.
Chibsah, who is co-owned by Juventus and Parma spent last season on loan at Sassuolo where he made 18 Serie A appearances.
