Tema, Feb. 15, GNA - Coegan Ladies, the 2008 Greater Accra Regional Women's Soccer League champions would pitch their strength against the National Under -17 women's team, the Black Maidens in a friendly football match at the Tema Manhean Seventh-Day Adventist Church Park on Sunday, February 21.
Mr Samuel Ofori Amasah, Team Manager of Coegan Ladies who disclosed this to the GNA Sports at Tema on Monday said his team would use the match to prepare for the forthcoming Greater Accra Regional Women's Soccer League. He said some of the newly-registered players would be featured in the match which would kick off at 1500 hours.
Mr Amasah said the team would leave no stone unturned during the league to make an impact and that the friendly match forms part one of the numerous friendly matches lined up for the team to put the players in shape. Mr Ebenezer Charway, Director of Coegan Ladies was hopeful that his team would triumph on Sunday and also go to win the Women's League as well. 15 Feb. 10
