Cape Coast, July 26 GNA - Cape Coast combined schools Under 17 football team were on Saturday held to a 2-2 draw by Cape Coast Friends Babies in a friendly football match played at the sports stadium. From the blast of the whistle, Friends Babies started strongly and netted the first goal through centre forward, Joseph Yamoah in the 10th minute.
The cheers that greeted this goal had scarcely died down when combined team's midfielder, John Titus levelled up in the 12th minute. Inspired by the equaliser, the combined team continued to pile pressure on Friends Babies and in the process earned a penalty from which, outside right, Alhaji Mustapha scored to raise the scores to 2-1 in the 35th minute.
Both sides resumed the second with greater determination but it was Friends Babies who had the edge and scored the much needed equaliser through right winger, Emmanuel Tampari in the 65th minute.
