Concern was growing last night for a teenage boy from West Africa who travelled to the north-east to take part in a football tournament, and then vanished.
Police are anxious to trace 17-year-old Emmanuel Anarfi, from Ghana, who was reported missing on Saturday, July 21, after a football match at Seaton Park in Aberdeen.
Emmanuel has a visa allowing him to stay in the UK and police are concerned for his welfare because of his age and the fact he is unfamiliar with the country.
He is described as having dark black skin, short curly hair, 5ft 7in and slim. He is believed to have been wearing a black bomber jacket or grey suit jacket, a green Aberdeen football top, and jeans with distinctively frayed hems.
Anyone with information should contact police on 0845 600 5700, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
