Congo team Stuck In Paris

The Congolese national team, who play Ghana?s Black Stars in a World Cup qualifier at the Kumasi Stadium on Sunday are stuck in transit in Paris, France enroute to Ghana.

According to a source, two groups of DR Congo players were expected to arrive from France and South Africa.

One group, took off from Chantilly in France, but missed their connecting flight from Paris to Accra on Thursday. At the time of filing this report they had still not got a confirmation of a flight to Ghana.

The other group, expected from South Africa - four players and the head of the football association - are expected in Kumasi on Saturday morning.
