Ghana international Hans Sarpei has agreed a three-year deal with Wolfsburg, which ties him to the Bundesliga outfit until 2007. The versatile midfielder, who can also operate in defence, joined Wolves in 2001 from MSV Duisburg and is clearly delighted to extend his stay at the Volkswagen-Arena.
''I am happy in Wolfsburg and am confident that the team has the potential to achieve great things,'' said Sarpei.
Sarpei, who has been employed in a more defensive position this term, is now set for an extended run in his favoured midfield berth, in light of Pablo Thiam's injury.
